In The Community

The Gamellia family has a long history of being pillars in Avon Lake, and Jim Gamellia Jr. firmly believes that it is the responsibility of business owners to give back to their communities. Leading by example, Jim has built two St. Jude Dream Homes in Avon Lake. He regularly builds one-of-a-kind hand-crafted pieces of furniture to be auctioned off for the benefit of local parishes and organizations.









It was paramount that the culture at Demex would allow for our employees to find their own way to connect and give back. Ensuring they have the resources to expend some of their time and energy into causes and organizations that have a personal connection to them. 



 

Demex Marine Construction is a Lake Erie, ohio. Marine contractor who specializes in erosion control, mitigation, breakwalls, sheet pile walls, armor stone, piers, cribs, jettys and other marine structures. We work with coastal engineers, ODNR, and Army Corp of Engineers. We have a fleet of barges, excavators and tug boats. Serving Avon Lake, Bay Village, Rocky River, Lakewood, Lorain, Sheffield Lake, Vermilion, Cleveland, Bratenahl.
